What We Aim For

Since its establishment in 2002, Alternative Investment Capital ("AIC") has been providing investors with investment opportinuties in foreign and Japanese private equity funds and real assets such as energy and infrastructure.
We have gained trust of a wide range of clients such as banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, as well as pension funds and operating companies.
Now, we have become one of the Japan's leading investment management and advisory firms in the private equity indsutry.
In addition, we regard a private equity investment as a business that can provide companies with competitiveness and growth and make a significant contribution to the development of the industry and also a valuable and socially significant business that can provide investors with opportunities to gain excess returns.
We are proud of working in this industry.
However, considering the economic scale in Japan, the amount of private equity investments by Japanese investors has still remained low level and the amount private equity investments in Japan from foreign investors has been also small.
We believe that our mission is to provide investors with the highest standards of services and advanced products in order to revitalize the two trends.
